To mark Ukraine’s Independence Day on 24 August 2024, Ukrainians are invited to produce some Artwork under the theme of ‘My Home’.
Pictures submitted in the Ukrainian Independence Day art competition will be displayed in Crafty Makery (old Accessorize store) from 15 August to 30 August 2024.
On Tuesday 27th August, in the top section of the Craft Makery, there will be face painting and wooden doll making from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. During that afternoon, from 2.45pm to 3.15pm, the Mayor will judge the competition, along with the Local Children's Partnership Chair, Biddy Mayo.
There will be 2 categories, one for adults and one for children. The winner of the adult’s category will receive a £100.00 shopping voucher and the children's category winner will be awarded a Family trip to Marwell.
