There are several household waste recycling centres (HWRC) across Hampshire, run by Hampshire County Council. They accept garden waste, bulky items and excess household waste. Hazardous household waste, including batteries, should be taken to an HWRC for safe disposal.
Before visiting the HWRC you must book a slot via the Hampshire website . Charges apply for some types of material that exceed the per household allowance. These charges are detailed on the Hampshire Councy Council website .
Trade waste is now accepted at HWRCs for a charge. Waste from businesses cannot be put in domestic waste or recycling bins.
Find your nearest HWRC and check the opening times
HWRC's are operated on behalf of Hampshire County Council and Project Integra, Hampshire's waste management partnership. Find out more about Household Waste Recycling Centres in Hampshire .
