Next Steps

The results of the recent consultation on the Draft Plan will help us to develop a pre-submission draft of the plan, which will be a final draft of what the Council will be looking to formally adopt. There will be a further opportunity to make representations on this pre-submission draft in the Autumn of 2013.

The plan will then be submitted and will be considered at an 'examination in public' by an independent Inspector, during 2014. Finally, after the Council has taken account of any changes recommended by the Inspector, the plan will be adopted by the Council later in the year.
