Revised Charging Schedule Review Consultation 2020

Fareham Borough Council consulted on its Community Infrastructure Levy Draft Charging Schedule between Friday 19th June - Friday 31st July 2020. The consultation was on a proposed zero rating of the Welborne development in line with the 2015 Welborne Plan and provisions being made for the development to meet the infrastructure requirements of the site through on site provision and financial contributions secured through a section 106 legal agreement.

The Revised Charging Schedule was accompanied by a supplementary viability report undertaken by Three Dragons and a statement of Representations Procedure:

Following the consultation, the Council prepared a Statement of Representation and a Statement of Proposed Modifications to the Charging Schedule and is under a duty to make these available to view. The Statement of Representation sets out what representations were made and how the Council proposes to take them into account. The Statement of Modifications sets out the changes which are proposed to the Charging Schedule as a result:

In accordance with the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010, representations were then invited on the Proposed Modifications, but none were received by the Council.

Examination Arrangements

The Examination of the Fareham Borough Council Charging Schedule Review was undertaken by an Independent Examiner between August 2020 and May 2021. The report of the examiner has been received by the Council and can be found here. PDF (139 KB)

The Revised Charging Schedule was presented to Full Council and approved on 10 June 2021.
