Alongside our consultants Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands we have developed a programme of improvements to transform the community and leisure facilities next to Henry Cort Drive. This project area is now called Fareham Park following a public consultation.
You can find the location of Fareham Park here
With the help of the community we developed a vision for new, larger, and flexible community and leisure facilities able to respond to local needs and support the work of
organisations and residents' activities.
We are delivering the programme of improvements through three project phases.
Phase 1: Relocate and improve the existing play and recreational facilities next to the existing community centre to the edge of the Recreation Ground to the
southern side of Henry Cort Drive.
Phase 2: A new, energy-efficient, larger, and fit-for-purpose community centre; accessible toilets to service the football pitches;
a replacement pétanque court and car parking for the new leisure and community facilities.
affordable homes being developed in a variety of tenures.

£700,000 from the Government's UK Shared Prosperity fund has been allocated to help deliver the Masterplan and Phase 1 of this project.
We are exploring options for more external funding to be able to provide the community centre and facilities and have secured a bid writer to help us do this.
