Are you ready for Fareham’s Big Weekend?!

Fareham’s Big Weekend is a new, family-friendly, low-cost, two-day community event, being organised and run by Fareham Borough Council.

Taking place across the weekend of 12-13 July, this exciting new event, will be taking place across multiple locations in and around Fareham Town Centre including Bath Lane Recreation Ground, Fareham Leisure Centre, Fareham Live, Fareham Shopping Centre, West Street, and the Civic Garden area.

Partner organisations from across Fareham will be coming together to put on a huge variety of events and activities to showcase just how much the town has to offer. From 10am-6pm on Saturday 12 July, and from 10am-4pm on Sunday 13 July, residents can enjoy:

Cricket matches
Lawn games
Music
Dancing
Street performers
Food and drink
Indoor market
Soft play
Splash pad
Inflatable pool sessions
Badminton and pickleball
Bubble shows and workshops
Cupcake decorating
Fun fair rides
And much, much more!

Executive Member for Leisure and Community at Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Connie Hockley, said: “I was excited about Fareham’s Big Weekend when we asked you all to save the date, but now the planning is coming together and I can see just how much will be on offer across the weekend, I can see this being an incredible weekend for the whole community. It will also really highlight everything that Fareham has going for us, which I think is often underestimated.”

The Council is looking for sponsors for the event to make it even better.
