Have your say on Fareham’s future

Fareham Borough Council is inviting residents to have their say on its new Corporate Strategy. This is an important document that details the Council's agenda for the coming years up to 2029.

The Corporate Strategy sets out how the Council will work over the next six years to ensure that Fareham remains a prosperous, safe and attractive place to live and work. Following consultation with residents, staff, councillors and partners, the following six main priorities have been proposed:

Provide housing choices
Respond to climate change and protect the environment
Strong, safe and healthy communities
Promote economic development
Leisure opportunities for wellbeing and fun
Responsive, inclusive and innovative Council

Each priority encompasses a number of key projects which will become the Council’s focus over the next six years.

The consultation is running from 7 June 2023 until 3 July 2023, and residents can find out more about the Council’s priorities and give their views on them here: www.fareham.gov.uk/consultations.
