999 Day returns to Fareham

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to announce that 999 Day will be taking place in Fareham on 24 June this year.

This free event will be held in the pedestrianised area of West Street Fareham, from 10am-4pm. Residents will be able to meet real-life emergency services heroes throughout the day, with Police, Fire service, Ambulance, RNLI, Hampshire Search and Rescue, Coastguard and many more in attendance.

There will be something for all the family, including free arts and crafts provided by Creation Station, and retired emergency vehicles on display, including British police cars. Westbury Manor Museum will be open for residents to take a break from the event, while children carry on the fun with some emergency services themed colouring. Fareham Library will also be hosting activities for children throughout the day.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Walker, said:

“I am delighted that 999 Day is returning this year. This fun-filled, free event is a great day out for all the family, where residents will have the opportunity to meet real-life heroes who work hard to keep our communities safe.”
