Council welcoming bids for drink and snack concession licenses

Fareham Borough Council has announced that the tender process for its hot and cold drink and snack concessions for the period of 2022-2025 is now open to bids.

These three-year licences are for October 2022 to September 2025 and there are a number of locations and options available. These are:

Meon Shore, Hill Head – year-round pitch
Salterns Road, Hill Head – year-round pitch
Portchester Castle – winter-only concession

Providers that would like to submit a bid should email to estatesservice@fareham.gov.uk to request the relevant form(s). These should be returned with a photograph of your trading vehicle and a copy of your menu by email to estatesservice@fareham.gov.uk or by post to Asset Management, Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham PO16 7AZ.

All bids must be submitted no later than noon on Monday 5 September 2022.

The successful applicant will be required to sign and return a licence agreement, provide a copy of their current insurance policy and pay the balance in full by 23 September 2022.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, said: “We are delighted to offer these concession licences for the next three years and encourage interested providers to contact our Estates Services team to submit a bid. These three-year licences are always in high demand and hotly contested and I wish good luck to all those who submit their bids.”
