New digital screen at Fareham Shopping Centre provides Council information

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to unveil a new digital screen within Fareham Shopping Centre to provide information to the local community.

Situated in the shopping centre outside the Ping Pong Parlour, this eye-catching new totem-style screen has replaced the outdated Council Connect area. Funded through the European Regional Development Fund, it will provide the public with details of ongoing campaigns, important information and upcoming events and will be monitored and updated by the Council.

Alongside the Council’s online magazine Fareham Today, the community notice boards around the Borough and regular poster and social media advertising, this new state-of-the-art screen allows the Council another way to inform local residents of latest news.

Mike Taylor, Centre Manager at Fareham Shopping Centre, commented: “I am delighted to see the new and improved Council screen at the shopping centre. It is not only sleek and modern but allows the Council to promote its events in the area to greater effect. We have worked closely with the Council as part of its Live Love Local campaign and support anything which encourages people back to our local shops and businesses.”
