Fareham Borough Council is holding a series of Community Action Team (CAT) Meetings about Buckland Development Limited's outline planning application for up to 6,000 homes at Welborne Garden Village.
The meetings are taking place at a number of different venues to allow as many people living in the areas surrounding the proposed site to find out more:
As Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council and Chairman of the upcoming CAT Meetings, Councillor Seán Woodward, said: "The CAT meetings will focus on the main proposals in the planning application, the types of issues that the Council will consider when assessing the application and how people can have their say."
Over 12,500 letters are being sent to residents living in the north of Fareham, Wickham and Knowle this week. In addition to promoting the CATs, the letters give an overview of the planning application and details on how people can comment on it.
You can view the application by visiting the Fareham Borough Council website www.fareham.gov.uk. There is an image and link to the application at the top of the homepage. You may also view the application by visiting the Civic Offices between 8.45am and 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
