We are are looking to improve Crossfell Walk play area thanks to a share of funding from The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
The current play area was built in 2012 and features equipment for both toddlers and juniors.
We would like to hear from residents about how the current play area and surrounding space could be improved.

Over 300 people expressed their preferences and suggestions for improvements to the play area by participating in the consultation exercise. An invitation to tender was issued and Wicksteed Leisure was awarded the contract for works which commenced in April 2024.
The play area was officially re-opened by the Mayor in May 2024. You can view a video of your new play area in the link above.
