Outline Welborne Planning Application 2017

The Council held a series of special CAT meetings in areas closeby to the development site allocated to Welborne. This was part of a consultation process which started on 10 January 2017 and lasted until 10 April 2017. In April 2017 the Council received an Outline Planning Application for up to 6,000 homes at Welborne Garden Village. The public meetings focused on the main proposals of the planning application, the types of issues that the Council will consider when assessing the application and how people can have their say.

Revised Welborne Planning Application 2019

The Council asked Buckland Development Limited to revise their 2017 planning application after finding it didn't fulfil the expectation of what was acquired. It was then re-opened for comments when further information was submitted in from 2 August to 30 August 2019. Two special CAT meetings took place to update residents on the changes to the planning application.
