Your business waste responsibilities are changing

Did you know that the Government has introduced new legal requirements for businesses to separate recyclable and general waste? Known as Simpler Recycling, businesses with 10 or more full-time employees have until 31 March 2025 to arrange for the storage and collection of the following alongside your refuse bin: dry mixed recycling; glass; metal; plastic; paper; cardboard; food. Businesses with less than 10 full-time employees have until 31 March 2027 to make these changes.

Fareham Borough Council can help businesses to easily make these changes through our experienced, friendly, locally-based, commercial waste and recycling collection service, WasteSavers. Click here to find out more.
