No memorials, memorial tablets or vases can be erected without the Council's approval. Memorial Masons should complete the memorial application form (145 KB) and include a drawing of the proposed memorial and its size, the type of material and the proposed inscription. The application form must be signed by the owner of exclusive right of burial for the grave space. Once completed and signed, it must be submitted by the memorial mason at least 14 days before installation to:

The relevant payment in accordance with the fees and charges (86 KB)must be enclosed with the memorial application form (145 KB). Cheques are payable to Fareham Borough Council. Following receipt the Cemeteries Officer will send the memorial mason a receipt and a permit to carry out the proposed erection of the memorial.
