If you haven't claimed Universal Credit, Tax Credits or Pension Credits, the calculator can also tell you how much help you may get from these payments. These calculations are only an estimate based on the information you supply.
The Government has awarded additional support for households. This sum (maximum award £25.00) will be shown on your Council Tax Bill.
This additional funding is provided by Government to support the most vulnerable households in England. This funding will allow councils to deliver additional support to the 3.8 million households already receiving Council Tax Support.
The funding is for the 2023-24 financial year only.

If you are unable to contact us by email, please call our Benefits team on 01329 824646 where you will be asked to leave a message. Please state the reason for your call, providing your name, address and contact number. We will endeavour to call you back to assist you in making your claim.
We offer a home visiting service if you are unable to complete an application over the phone or you are unable to come into the Council Offices because you are ill or disabled. Appointments can be made by telephoning 01329 824646.
In each of the above cases, your claim can only be paid once all of the information that is requested of you is received. Any delay in submitting the necessary information may hold up the assessment process.
