Fareham Borough Council operates 15 car parks situated within a short walking distance of the Town Centre. Take a look at our car park map or click on the image of the map on this page for a larger version.
Please note: We DO NOT use QR codes on any of our parking machines. If you see a QR code sticker on our machines, it is a scam intended to fool people into entering their payment details into a fraudulent website.

These are best suited to you if you are making relatively quick visits to the town.
The closest car park to the town centre is the Fareham Shopping Centre multi storey car park, situated on Civic Way. Please view the short, sped-up video on this page showing how to reach Fareham Shopping Centre car park from Broadcut to its entrance in Civic Way.
Charges apply Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sundays and Bank Holidays 10.30am to 4pm. There is no charge on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
There are disabled bays located in these car parks; the pay and display car parks are free to disabled drivers provided you correctly display your valid blue badge. There is a normal parking charge for disabled drivers who park in the barrier controlled cark parks.
Fareham residents park free if they have an approved application for access to the pay on foot car parks.
Motorcycles may park free of charge in car parks with motorcycle only bays.
Please note that there are charge points for electric vehicles in the Civic Way Car Park with three different types of connection and are able to charge a range of models including; BMW, VW, Audi, Ford, General Motors, Porsche, Nissan, Citroen, Mistubishi, Peugeot, Renault and Kangoo. A network of electric vehicle charge points have now been successfully commissioned across Hampshire with Hampshire County Council working in collaboration with Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE). You can find out more about the charge points on Hampshire County Council's website .

Sundays and Bank Holidays £1.50 per hour.
These are best suited if you plan to stay longer than five hours. This might be because you work in Fareham or are visiting on business. We also have three longer bays for motorhomes in Malthouse car park. There are disabled bays available in car parks except Osborn Road West, Youth Centre and Lysses. Disabled drivers may park free of charge provided they correctly display a valid blue badge. Motorcycles may park free of charge in some car parks within Motorcycle only bays.
Season Tickets are available to park in any Outer car park for all day, or 5 hourly and 1-6 days a week for part time working. Please download the Season Ticket form (128 KB).
A 20% discount is offered for purchases of 8 or more season tickets bought in bulk.
In one of our town centre Premium/Inner car parks, we have introduced a fairer payment system so that you no longer need to estimate how long you think you will park for. The 'pay on foot' system is in Market Quay surface car park. It works in this way:
Lost tickets will be charged at the hourly daily rate during charging hours. After 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and 4.00pm Sunday and Bank Holidays, press the information button for assistance. At the barrier and pay stations there is a voice link to the control room in case you need any help.
The rest of our town centre car parks still operate a pay and display system which means you should buy a ticket to cover the time of your stay. It works in this way:
