New play equipment is being built at a Titchfield play area and now we want residents, especially children, to help decide what that equipment should be.
There's a range of exciting options for the refit at Barry's Meadow and we need you to go online and vote for your favourite.
The junior multi-climbing unit is being replaced with a brand-new unit for children to enjoy and we want your vote for which new unit is installed at the Southampton Hill play area.
The current black stepping stones and a spinner is also being replaced with two items - a climbing block, play car or roundabout – depending on how you vote.
New bright and colourful games will be painted on the floor for children to play on and all the current equipment and benches will also be repainted and cleaned.
Please take the time to complete the online survey and make your voice heard at https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=153745614658 .
The changes are part of a five-year improvement plan being carried out by Fareham Borough Council at play areas in the Borough. To find out more have a look at: /leisure/out_and_about_in_fareham/play_areas/playareaimprovements.aspx.
Executive Member of Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell, said: "We want to encourage children to get off their screens and outside playing. It is important children get to choose what equipment they want to play on."
The deadline for responses is Monday 5 November. Work on the play area is expected to take place in 2019.
