Welcome Guides

The Welcome Guide gives you information on the support that is available to make sure your accommodation is safe, how to get your children into education and how to link into health services.  It also includes details of other support for yourself and your children.  These guides are available here in Ukrainian External Hyperlink and Russian External Hyperlink.

Social and community events

There are a number of free to attend events scheduled throughout the year which offer the opportunity to integrate with the local community. You can find information about these on our event pages and the 'what's on' section of our website.

Transport and help with mobility

Free bus travel

First Bus are offering free onward bus travel to all Ukrainian refugees for the first 48hrs they're in the country, helping them travel for free to their host's location. Find out more about the scheme here External Hyperlink.

Health and Wellbeing Services - Community First

Trauma Counselling

Community First START provides specialist trauma and abuse counselling and restorative therapies and provides access to a number of qualified counsellors offering to support Ukrainians experiencing emotional distress.
