Despite the weather, many attended the Christmas Lights Switch On event and joined in with festive activities, supported community performers, braved the funfair rides outside and enjoyed festive food and drink. The indoor Christmas market was busy throughout the day and a large crowd braved the weather to watch the Christmas lights we switched on.
