All business hangars let at Solent Airport

Fareham Borough Council is pleased to announce that all its business hangars have been let at Solent Airport, with Hangar Seven now having a new occupier.

The hanger has been let to Fareham based company, Mariner Trading Ltd, which will be using it for plane storage and for developing a facility specialising in aerobatics.

One of a terrace of six aircraft hangars, the business unit has direct access to both the airport and the adjacent Faraday Business Park. The hangars run from north to south along the site at Spitfire Way and provide a fitted office/kitchen in hangarage space of 594 square metres, as well as airside access from the hangar.

Part of the Solent Enterprise Zone, businesses based at the Solent Airport benefit from a location close to the waterfront, proximity to the area’s major road connections, public open spaces and the airport itself.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Seán Woodward, said: “We are delighted that all of the business hangars at Solent Airport have now been let. Daedalus is the largest employment site in the area and the premier location for aviation, aerospace engineering and advanced manufacturing businesses in the south. Mariner Trading are a welcome addition to the site and to the airport.”

Ian Pinkstone CEO and Founder of Mariner Trading added: “We are delighted to be taking up residence at Hangar Seven at Solent Airport. It really was the ideal location to meet all of Mariner Trading’s needs both now and in the future and we look forward to developing our aircraft and aerobatic facilities in the Solent.”
