Coronavirus: Play areas and outdoor facilities closed

Play areas, multi-use games areas, outdoor gyms, skate parks, outdoor sports facilities and public toilets in the Fareham Borough are now closed.

In line with central government advice on social distancing, the areas will close to assist in reducing the transmission of the virus.

Parks, outdoor spaces and the beach will remain open for essential daily exercise and dog walking but please ensure you stay 2m away from anyone else to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Signs will be put up at play areas, multi-use games areas, skate parks and public toilets to inform users of the closures. The Council will monitor the situation in the coming days in line with the government’s advice.
