Thumbs Up Thursday is back

Free activities will take place every Thursday during the summer holidays for families to enjoy in Fareham Town Centre.

Thumbs Up Thursday offers a different activity every week including arts and crafts, Lego building, circus skills and a petting farm on Thursdays at the Performance Podium, near the children’s play area in West Street between 10am and 1pm.

Families with children aged 11 and under are invited to turn up to the weekly event and children must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Timetable of events:

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Councillor Sue Bell, said: “Thumbs up Thursday is always a popular event and we’re delighted to announce that it is back again for the summer holidays.

"It’s a free event and there’s a different theme every week, so come along and why not take the opportunity to visit the shops or have lunch out and make it a fun, family day out.”
