Residents urged to come to public meetings

Residents will be able to attend three more public meetings held by Fareham Borough Council to have their say about future development.

The Community Action Team (CAT) meetings will take place at The Garage Room, Titchfield Community Centre on Friday 12 July, Ferneham Hall on Monday 15 July and at Brookfield Community School in Sarisbury Green on Tuesday 16 July between 7pm and 8.30pm.

The meetings are the final three in a series of five meetings taking place as part of the issues and options consultation for the Council’s Draft Local Plan. Attendees will be able to have their say about the area they live in.

Residents will also have the opportunity to find out about the various initiatives taking place across the Borough and hear an update from the local police.

An exhibition of the Draft Local Plan issues and options will be held at each venue before the meetings from 2.30pm and 6pm with members of the Council’s planning team on hand to answer any queries.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Councillor Seán Woodward, said: “These public meetings are a great opportunity to find out what is going on in the Fareham Borough and a chance to ask any questions and for people to give their views. I hope as many residents as possible will come along.”
