Press Release

28 June 2019

Sign up for a summer of fun with Access All Areas

A chance to try segways, sailing, bungee trampolines and many more free activities is being offered to young people in Fareham.

The summer holiday scheme - Access All Areas – is open for bookings on 1 July for youngsters aged 11 to 16 who live or go to school in the Borough.

Fareham Borough Council organise the events, which also includes inflatable pool parties, outdoor inflatables and driving lessons (for 15 -16 years old only), at a range of locations.

Youngsters can take part in as many activities as they like but a parent/guardian must register them online before 18 July. A full list of events is available online at www.fareham.gov.uk/aaa

Some activities are operated on a first come first served basis and need to be booked in advance. If you register on time, a pass will be sent to you in the post and will include free bus travel to and from events – this service is being provided by First Bus.

An additional consent form will need to be completed for some activities and will need to be returned to the event organiser on the day.

Executive Member for Health and Public Protection, Councillor Trevor Cartwright, said: “Access All Areas is a fantastic scheme which allows youngsters to enjoy fun activities in a safe environment.

“We have so many different activities for young people to try and it’s all free. Just remember to book early and have consent forms signed in advance to take part in some activities.”

If you have any questions about these events, please contact the Leisure Team on 01329 236100 or email leisure@fareham.gov.uk.
